H2Global Foundation Expands Management Team: Susana Moreira to join the Executive Board

Hamburg, July 20, 2023 – The H2Global Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of its Executive Board with the appointment of Susana Moreira as an Executive Director / Co-Chair, effective immediately. She will work closely with Markus Exenberger, Chair of the Executive Board of the H2Global Foundation and Timo Bollerhey, CEO of HINT.CO GmbH.

H2Global is dedicated to accelerating the growth of the hydrogen market, and with the addition of Susana Moreira, the foundation gains further strength in advancing international collaboration and the exchange of technological know-how.

Susana Moreira is an energy and mining specialist with a portfolio of in-depth research publications on gases-for-transition, mining and sustainability. Prior to joining H2Global, Susana Moreira worked for over a decade in different roles at the World Bank in Washington DC, where she was responsible for multiple initiatives. With a focus on energy and mining including green hydrogen, she successfully built and maintained relationships with government stakeholders in multiple developing countries, and with various international organizations, academic institutions, and private sector entities. Notably, she played a leading role in developing new business opportunities for the World Bank in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Originally from Portugal, with fluency in multiple languages and a diverse international experience, she brings a global perspective to her work. She holds a PhD in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
